  5. dvi2lj is an AMIGA port of dvi2xx.051alpha11
  6.        by Peter A.Henning, P.Henning@gsi.de

  8. dvi2lj converts TeX dvi files into HP Laserjet format, similar
  9.        to the original dvi2xx family.
  10.  
  11. dvi2lj is the appropriate tool for people who own a HP Laserjet         
  12.        compatible printer without postscript interpretation (myself at 
  13.        home), but tend to use dvips-compatible special-commands
  14.        (myself in the office).

  16. dvi2lj is enhanced with respect to the original dvi2xx family in
  17.        the sense that it also accepts special commands of the type
  18.                \special{psfile =<filename> hscale=50 vscale=75
  19.                         hoffset=200 voffset=100 angle=60}
  20.        The postscript file specified in this special command
  21.        is converted in to Laserjet format, (hopefully) in exactly
  22.        the same way as the famous dvips TeX driver would interpret
  23.        the special command.
